Not long now and hopefully we will be able to reopen under the government guidelines! Yippee!! I am starting to be contacted by people wanting to book in for dates after the 12th of April so I thought I’d write and explain how I will be doing this going forward.
Last year we were told we could reopen on July 4th. Then on July 3rd the government announced that complementary therapists weren’t included in the list of businesses reopening that day. 🙁 So we had lots of scrambling around to cancel appointments and reschedule. Rather than mess everyone around I am not taking bookings just yet this time. The government has promised us that we will have at least 7 days notice of confirmation that we can reopen.
So, a week before we can reopen I will firstly contact all my members to book in their treatments as they have continued paying throughout the lockdown and are owed treatments now. This is a benefit of membership – priority booking at all times! (Join now to enjoy this priority booking)
After my members are booked in I will then contact all of those on my waiting list. There are several people who have contacted me during lockdown and asked to be put on the waiting list, feel free to add your name to this list if you like, anytime in the next three weeks. 😉 Then finally, I will advertise publicly that my bookings are open for anyone else who would like to book.
I feel this is the most fair way to deal with bookings when I reopen. I would rather be sure we are opening before booking anyone, than have to mess everyone around with cancellations and rescheduling. (Besides that fact it makes my diary look messy! 😉 LOL!!
All being well, my first day back in the treatment room will be April 13th and I will be doing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-9pm. Friday’s will be mobile (reflexology only) from 10am-5pm and then Friday evenings at Cavendish from 7pm. I will also be working the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month from 10am-6pm at the treatment room. Hopefully this will accommodate everyone’s schedules with these days/times.
I look forward to seeing you all and helping you get your well-being back up to the best level it can be in the coming months! I’ve missed you all and doing the work I love.
